People show interest in three places.
We turn that into one demand picture.
Search aggregators. The dealer’s own website. The sales floor.
If you only measure one website — or only what rang up at the register — you miss half the story. Demand Surfaces is a simple map of where shoppers actually look for firearms and ammo (including multi-store search, not just a single shop’s site), and how that interest becomes insights for stores and brands.
Search aggregators · dealer websites · sales floor — same demand objects, different channels.

One picture of demand
Search-aggregator, dealer-site, and sales-floor interest land in the same system — so you’re not juggling three different reports.
Works with stores you already know
Independent shops keep their cash register and compliance process. We capture interest earlier — what people asked for — not only what they bought.
Built for brands and BI teams
Brand Intelligence shows market demand across many stores. You can compare interest from aggregators, dealer websites, and the sales floor as the network grows.
Three places interest shows up
Think of each as a different storefront window. You want to see all three — not guess from only one.
01 · Search aggregators
Comparing many stores in one place
Shoppers use multi-store search — like GunSearchEngine — to hunt across retailers, not just one shop’s homepage. They ask questions, click products, and ask to be notified when something is back in stock.
See live search →02 · Dealer’s own website
On that store’s domain
When a shop puts Betsy on its own website (through GunSearchAgent), you see what visitors looked for there — different from aggregator traffic. Free to start, no long setup project.

Already walking the aisle
My Betsy helps walk-in customers on their phone: what’s in stock, what’s popular, and today’s in-store special. That interest is real foot traffic — not multi-store search on an aggregator.
About My Betsy →Why the store floor is special
Sales reports look backward.Demand looks forward.
What rang up yesterday is useful. What people are trying to find today — online and in the store — helps brands and retailers plan stock, promos, and production earlier. My Betsy puts that helper on walk-in phones without asking the store to replace their register or download an app.
Easy for the shopper
Join store Wi‑Fi or scan a code. No app store trip.
Useful on the spot
What’s in stock, what’s popular, today’s special.
Interest you can measure
What they looked at becomes demand data for the store.
Useful for brands
As more shops join, you see real in-store interest — not just website clicks.
What this is not
Not a cash register system
Stores keep their own checkout and paperwork. We help earlier — when someone is still deciding.
Not background-check or transfer software
Licensed retailers still handle legal transfers. We don’t replace that process.
Not secret phone tracking
We don’t follow phones around the building in the background. Interest comes from actions the shopper clearly takes in Betsy.
Not a finished national floor map tomorrow
Website demand is live today. In-store demand grows store by store. We won’t oversell coverage we haven’t earned yet.

FAQ
- What is a “demand surface”?
- Simply: a place where shoppers show interest that we can measure. Today that means (1) multi-store search aggregators (like GunSearchEngine), (2) a gun store’s own website, and (3) the physical sales floor with My Betsy. Different places — one demand picture.
- What’s the difference between search aggregators and a dealer’s website?
- Aggregators let shoppers compare many stores in one search. A dealer’s website is only that store’s domain. Both matter — but they are not the same traffic, and we keep them separate so brands and shops can see which is which.
- Why care about the store floor if we already have website data?
- Most people who walk into a gun shop never open that shop’s website. They’re already there, phone in hand. Capturing what they look up in the aisle is demand you would otherwise miss.
- Can brand teams see individual shoppers’ names or emails?
- No. Brand Intelligence is built on anonymized patterns — what people asked for, not who they are. Personal contact details stay out of OEM reports and APIs.
- Are you tracking phones around the store like a mall heat map?
- No. We don’t silently follow phones through the building. Demand comes from clear actions: someone opens the store helper, views a product, or shows today’s special. Stores can optionally use a simple QR code on a shelf or department sign if they want to know which area was involved — no special tracking hardware required.
- Where should a gun store start?
- Start free at GunSearchAgent.com. Put Betsy on the website in minutes. The same account is ready when My Betsy is used on the sales floor later.
- How is this different from sales reports from the cash register?
- Register reports show what sold. Demand shows what people were trying to find — online and in-store — including interest that never became a sale that day. That helps brands and stores stock and plan earlier.
- What should a junior BI analyst look for here?
- Three sources of interest feeding one dataset: multi-store search aggregators, dealer websites, and in-store phones. Compare them as the network grows. Don’t expect a national “floor map” overnight — that grows with real store installs. Start with dealer-website demand (easy to get live today) and treat floor data as an expanding source.
